November 30 at Hesse Park:

“Governor William Penn: A Forgotten American Hero.”

Jim MacLellan, former director of trade development for the Port of Los Angeles, Rancho Palos Verdes resident, and Peninsula Seniors member, will present a history talk on Governor William Penn, a Quaker and founder of Pennsylvania, and whose democratic principles served as an inspiration for the U.S. Constitution. His statue sits atop city hall in Philadelphia.
